Loop & Weft have a simple creed they stand by, "Best Knitwear". While production varies and quality has been known to fluctuate with denim and knitwear in the industry depending on a variety of factors, these guys are nothing but consistent with each delivery.

The latest tees from the brand come with comfort and sustainability at the forefront of the design and construction process. The fabric is made from recycled fibers of Supima cotton - a rare, extra-long staple cotton often referred to as the ā€œcashmereā€ of cotton. These reclaimed "Ochi Wata" fibers are spun into a slub-like yarn that captures the irregular charm of hand-spun textiles, then knit at high gauge into a dense, durable jersey with a soft, dry touch. The result is a custom-developed fabric that mimics the texture and personality of vintage tees while offering a lightweight, breathable feel and an exceptionally smooth finish on the skin.

The tee’s design takes cues from 1960s sportswear that allows for comfortable wear as both a standalone or base layer. The sleeve construction and collar finishing are nods to traditional techniques - meticulously assembled with flat two-needle and four-needle stitching, reducing bulk while showcasing beautiful seamwork. The edge piping finish along the collar and sleeves is a subtle nod to vintage athleticwear, offering both a clean overallĀ look.

The garment is sewn with a labor-intensive technique using double-needle stitching for the switching parts, all done with cotton thread.
