The latest tees from the brand come with comfort and sustainability at the forefront of the design and construction process. The fabric is made from recycled fibers of Supima cotton - a rare, extra-long staple cotton often referred to as the “cashmere” of cotton. These reclaimed "Ochi Wata" fibers are spun into a slub-like yarn that captures the irregular charm of hand-spun textiles, then knit at high gauge into a dense, durable jersey with a soft, dry touch. The result is a custom-developed fabric that mimics the texture and personality of vintage tees while offering a lightweight, breathable feel and an exceptionally smooth finish on the skin.

Inspired by mid-century athletic wear, the tee features a freedom sleeve construction, which curves from the neckline down under the arm. This design enhances mobility and creates a more relaxed silhouette around the shoulders. Due to the lightweight nature of the fabric, the freedom sleeve construction using a four-needle machine and flat seamer finish is a near-impossible feat. The sleeves and back yoke must be expertly sewn by a very skilled craftsman as it requires the entire process to be guided by hand. The neckline is reinforced with vintage-style binding to help maintain its shape over time, and rib detailing at the cuffs and hem adds to the garment’s structure and durability.
