Blending utilitarian and elegant styling elements, Momotaro pay homage to classic US Navy jackets with their latest Dobby Sashiko offering. Dobby refers to both the fabric woven using a dobby loom and the weaving technique itself. The dobby loom is capable of creating regular and continuous patterns, allowing the fabric to exhibit a textured appearance similar to knit patterns. This creates a three-dimensional effect on the fabric without appearing overly mechanical, giving it a charmingly textured look.
