Featuring a proprietary Heather Slub Fleece knit fabric developed by Loop & Weft, this textile retains a unique texture, due to the construction of the weave. Applying a 30/10 fleece pile cotton material, the special spinning method during production yields an inconsistent yet über soft hand feel. The inlay of the fabric features a unique three-row jump pile fleece, mimicking the uneven loop arrangement often found on vintage fleece material.

Paying homage to USN sweatpants style common amongst service during and after WWII, the fit has been updated from the vintage base to provide a more modern silhouette. Applying a combination of rare knitting methods to bring this piece to fruition, both the fabric weave and garment construction of this product occurs in Wakayama, Japan.

A Union Special 4-needle flat seamer machine commands all the seam construction, a facet of vintage construction that allows for increased seam allowance, thus adding to the comfort element of this piece. The process of production begins with a natural heather slub fleece base, with the sweatpants then dyed in Indigo by hand, piece by piece. A combination of the irregular weave and heather base fabric result in the penetration of the indigo dye in a variegated fashion, celebrating a range of Indigo hues.

**As this is a garment dyed piece, please note that this garment may stain other articles of clothing given the nature of the indigo dye. This bleeding or transfer of color onto other garments when it comes into contact, either directly or during the wash process. We would recommend washing this garment with similar colors.
