Back with another Black Friday banger after taking a break in 2021 (those Tenth Year collaboration pieces kept us busy), weā€™ve spent the better part of 2022 working with friends Pure Blue Japan & Nathan Spoor to bring this wacky idea for these Thanksgiving Holidays to life. Itā€™s been a trying year for many, and in order to still bring a killer product to market, yet taking on a light-hearted element to it meant a lot to our team. With each of our collaborations usually taking on a theme rooted in Japanese heritageĀ or as a celebration of traditional dye colors or techniques, we finally got a chance to have a bit of fun with this one. Combining the Japanese words Kuro (Black) & KaijuĀ (Monster) we created a concept for a beast or monster, paying homage to the countless manga and anime characters we grew up on. This is the OD+ collaboration that most epitomizesĀ BEASTMODE, on so many levels.

The latest OD+PBJ mash-up,Ā KKā€™s (ā€œKurokaiā€), is a pair featuring PBJā€™s coveted 18oz. Indigo x Black denim. Not holding back on the details that make one of our collaborations truly special, the ā€œKurokaiā€ ships with a custom Tote Bag & Enamel Pin, designed by none other than celebrated artist & friend, Nathan Spoor.
