At the heart of Omoto is the denim which has been milled on vintage Sakamoto looms from the 1950s. The fabric is comprised of a bi-blend of Texas and Zimbabwean cotton, an amalgamation of toughness and softness. The resulting denim bursts with texture and has a crisp hand feel. Rope-dyed in pure indigo, the warp yarns exhibit a deep blue hue with the core remaining undyed to guarantee beautiful fading down the line. The jeans are sensibly cut with three variations of a straight cut ranging from wide to just a touch slim.
