At the heart of Omoto is the denim which has been milled on vintage Sakamoto looms from the 1950s. The fabric is comprised of a bi-blend of 27.8mm Memphis and Zimbabwean cotton, an amalgamation of toughness and softness. These jeans undergo a hand-distressing process at one of Kojima's fabled factories that specialize in recreating vintage fades from antique pairs of jeans, with this particular model mimicking 2 years of hard wear and several washes.
