"Ichimatsu" refers to the specific jacquard pattern used as the base fabric of this shirt. The pattern traces its routes back to the Edo period and was first popularized by the famous Kabuki actor Sanogawa Ichimatsu when he wore a kimono featuring this pattern. Omoto Denim combine tradition with classic work shirt hues and unbeatable construction. Given the deep hue of indigo, this shirt is simply made to be faded.
