Introducing one of the most innovative Selvedge compositions we've seen to date, the 双藍 (Sou-Ai) denim features a Warp of blended Tokushima Natural Indigo and Pure Indigo and an undyed ecru Weft. 双 (Sou, or pair in Japanese) in the moniker pays homage to the combination of indigo dyed yarns used in the warp of the denim, while 藍 ( Ai, or Indigo in Japanese) speaks to the indigo dyed DNA. Combining a variegated set of yarns to serve as the Warp allows not just for an Indigo hue that is unique to this proprietary denim, the combination of varying yarns kicks the texture on the face of the fabric into overdrive. Aesthetically, upon first glance they have the distinct "rain" streaking running down the fabric as is usually seen in Tokushima Natural Indigo jeans. With the unique composition adding Pure Indigo to the denim, the jeans will fade closer to a classic pure indigo pair rather than the aggregate fading where the entire jeans lighten in indigo hue tone over extended wear.

*Please note that this is an unsanforized pair of denim, and the raw version will shrink up to 10% with the first soak, and will then stretch out with wear. **The one wash variant is commerically washed in a factory, and thus maximizes the shrinkage of the garment. This variant will only stretch with wear, with no additional shrinkage expected from the listed measurements below.
