The fabric for Samurai's latest sweatshirt offering is a heavyweight sweat knit, densely woven using 30-count yarns that have been rope-dyed in Natural indigo. These yarns contain small pockets of air within the fibers, giving the fabric a dry, textured feel and a rugged appearance that will develop character over time.

The ribbed cuffs and hem are knitted using the same indigo-dyed yarns, maintaining both visual harmony and structural integrity. The sweatshirt is also overdyed in Kakishibu (Persimmon fruit), which adds a warm, earthy tone and also enhances the fabric’s antibacterial properties while strengthening its overall durability. Over time, the Kakishibu dye will react with sunlight and air, causing the color to deepen and develop a distinctive patina.
