This special addition to Samurai's F/W 2024 collection is the brand's first ever take on a traditional Sukajan (souvenir jacket). This piece is truly one of a kind, utilizing a satin fabric made from a blend of rayon and cotton that has been indigo-dyed. With a higher cotton composition, the fabric offers a robust structure and substantial feel, while still retaining the smooth glossiness and elegant drape characteristics of rayon.

The interior features a black satin lining with a thin layer of padding, offering comfort and lightweight insulation. The jacket's embroidery pays homage to classic Sukajan motifs, incorporating dragons, Mt. Fuji, and torii gates, but with a Samurai twist. The dragon is depicted holding a helmet, sword, and battle fan, infusing the design with uniquely Samurai aesthetics. The embroidery is crafted using patterns developed from hand-guided stitching, resulting in a finish that exudes depth and character.

Even the ribbed cuffs, hem, and collar are custom-designed and specially knitted, emphasizing the high level of detail and craftsmanship that defines this standout piece.
